Early Access April 4 Content Drop - Detailed Patch Notes

On Saturday, April 4 we dropped a huge update. It's massive size was due to the Early Access testing going on hold for a while, and during that time a lot of fixes were happening behind the scenes. Thank you for bearing with us during that process and now after this mega patch drop, we're back on full PC action. Our Early Access community can expect a patch update every Saturday morning moving forward.

Instead of posting every fix (there are hundreds and hundreds) here are some of the more significant ones we've selected for the patch notes that might be the most relevant to players.

 

GENERAL GAME CHANGES

  • Perk Changes: Perks were too powerful. They now add about 2% per point vs 10% before so that its still competetive regardless of your rank
  • Favorite system added to bounty to adjust bounty values based on rank differences of teams
  • All character have health increased, to give you a chance to come back from a huge combo instead of it leading to insta-death
  • Domination game time extended
  • Outlaw rank icons added
  • Lobby now shows "Steam acount" names in addition to outlaw names
  • Enemy Outlaw names/ranks are hidden before countdown
  • Ping bar feature added
  • In game feature added to display all Player names/Rank icons by holding Right on Dpad
  • Quick Match feature added: (Still work in progress) When selected, player will be placed into any available empty pre-game lobby regardless of game mode type.
  • 3v3 mode added for evaluation
  • 8 player free for all added to "private" you can autostart with any number of players
  • New "PRIVATE" game type added, so that players can configure their own match sizes etc
  • New tracks added to game soundtrack
  • Player Leaderboards feature added
  • View Match History Added 
  • Practice mode can now be selected on main menu
  • Tutorial feature added to practice mode, currently only supports Controller instructions
  • All durations made more equal for for all characters
  • New Maps: The Plaza and Mines added
  • Dragging window now auto adjusts your resolution
  • Various fixes for full screen mode (to detect monitor resolutions)

 

MATADOR

  • Blind Changes: Now makes her invisible to blinded target. Switching weapons will remove blind on blinded targets
  • Banderilla can now crit when two banderillas land
  • Matador stamina regen speed increased
  • TDM Changes: Charge time extended, however, TDM dash speed to target now increased. Any damage to Matador while charging up TDM will reset TDM charging

 

KID RED

  • Dynamite Cool down extended
  • Dynamtite Blast radius reduced
  • Dynamite Damage reduced
  • Dynamite cook time extended

 

KILLER

  • Knife toss hit box reduced, must be more accurate with toss to land hits
  • Knife toss can collide with dynamites and other flying knives
  • Killers reload speed was slowed down to make him ore vulnerable after ammo is used
  • Killers stamian regen speed was reduced to make him more vulnerable after using stamina
  • Stamina auto regen bug fix

 

DESERTER

  • Heal move has Longer cool down
  • Can no longer move and heal
  • Heal total amount reduced
  • Impale must be fully charged now to impale target to elminate chaining impale with evade
  • Can no longer drop players through collision walls using impale

 

PHANTOM

  • Whip now has a 4 second cool down
  • Basic attack deals damage at maximum range
